Quick unnecessary mod before a snowboard camp trip:

Just did this recently too and one of my favorite mods. I was lucky enough to find a nice one at a scrap yard the first time.

    Lolol wut why

Yup, stumbled across a totaled lunar mist on fb, scored it for $35 shipped

that’s the strange part, it seems like the ones I have found them on are 5 lugs or trucks I have seen with manual everything

sometimes I am off camber leaned hard one way and I’m in wishing for a place to grab that won’t break my hand if I roll.

that or standing on my sliders and needing to grab inside for some reason.

I feel like it might depend on how big and tall someone may be that would depict how they use it, if at all. I’m 6 ft 225 lbs. I could use the leverage lol. Nonetheless, might not be for everyone I guess.

The A pillar is unique to 01 Tacoma's, but you went and ruined that.

No grab handle is unique to 0. That's why you broke your hand on the handle of a non 01.
You're high. Find me an 01 with a factory driver oh shit handle.

the 01-04 is just rounder and pokes out more. But that doesn't make it "special" to me. The smaller one is better IMO honestly.

    i can’t that’s why it came from a 02 :p

that’s what I’m saying, I couldn’t find them and it’s what I wanted. Couldn’t find them on any 01-04 tbh unless it was base model everything. If you really want no handle trim I’ll sell you my old one for the price I paid for this

    Stuff. Also things.
Weird convo in here. I guess I’m just glad that I have factory grab handles on my 02

Not sure why anyone would NOT want to have them. They’re super nice on off-camber stuff and for grabbing to stand up on my sliders. I also have RAM mounts on both for my phone and my InReach. They’re far and away the best spots I’ve found for both of those things.

I don't think you are understanding. It is extremely rare to see an 01 with a driver's side Oh Shit handle.
    02-04 have them. It's a toyota-ism.
Why would I need two? Supposedly it makes mounting pillar pods easier if you don't have the handle fwiw.

The tires are a 285/75r17 , puts them a little above 34". I haven't had the Yokohama's offroad yet but I can tell you that they are by far the quietest mud terrain I've ever had on the truck. My wife's Civic has more tire noise than these.

These tires are grossly underrated for sure! Super quiet and smooth ride! Great on road traction in the dry and wet!
The color match grill was done by the previous owner. I like the white but won't do it again because the little chips and what not over time look horrible. You can look at my build thread for better pix of it.
