Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
Not today but recently. Can’t seem to find the time to post regularly, it’s been a long 3 months. My grandfather passed away about 3 days before my son was born in December, and even though it had been a long time coming it sure made for a bittersweet Christmas time. I shifted to a new schedule at work in January, 7p-7a but only work a total of 7 days out of each 2 weeks so that’s nice, except momma went back to work at the end of January so we’re all sleep deprived lol.

That said, have been able to get a few tacomods done recently.

Added the Fumoto valve to the oil pan, I feel like that’s going to be a really nice addition the next time I change the oil!DEA40B1F-430E-459C-9F13-F4D7E8EB5E83.jpg

Got to take my daughter to our first daddy-daughter dance in the truck that she “bought for me for $100”

    E3AC8FD3-0F5C-4A62-B43C-5307B1591967.jpg

My dad gave my wife and I each $100 gift cards for WeatherTech. I traded favors for hers, outfitted the truck with full front and back mats, and understand what all the fuss is about now. Plus, as I had bought this truck used, I had been without the lug key for the Method wheels, or so I thought. Even after cleaning around the driver seat numerous times, this thing came rolling out. Just in time for an overdue rotation. 57131FE0-E13D-4A93-A3D0-9DBF237339F9.jpg5BB83424-4560-4311-8579-26A06E942BBE.jpg

It also allowed me to swap out the pineapple handgrenade Method center caps for the @MESO caps I snagged from @YE2KA and man does that look better, even with the dirty wheels!!
    DE23B7D8-77CE-46C0-9987-3FE443D34354.jpg

Finally, little man got his first driver seat time the other day. The look said it all, so I added the caption. 6E555F34-194C-4340-827A-E736770EA701.jpg

Next things to be done: diff oil, transfer case oils sitting in the shop waiting to be changed, as well as a PowerStop brake kit. And put the 80# Pelfreybilt under armor back on that I was dumb enough to take off by myself during the oil change lol.

Thanks! Yeah from the side it almost looks stock but from the front or back looks like a Raptor or TRX.

Did you drill those wholes on top of the bed? I like that design. I have a roll top cover and seeing this rig looks like something I would want to do. Thanks.

I wish I would’ve taken more pictures but I was in the heat of the moment. I pulled the backflip off pull the top rails off and right where I was mounting the front its actually got a stake hole. I had to weld in some reinforcement plates underneath Heavy plate steel to make it way more secure. Also cut some tubing down to act as a spacer so it doesn’t crush the top rail plastic into the bed. It’s not hard it’s just time consuming.

    Next purchase bedside reinforcements

Added Air Lift bags. Hide the Schrader valves in the back up lamps.

Finally got the adhesive off the bed from the PPF. I had tons of trouble getting it off. Even with the Florida sun and a blow dryer, I was able to get the film off about a year ago but couldn't get the adhesive itself off with heat, goo gone, or turtle wax bug and tar remover. Finally reached out to a local mom and pop shop that specializes in removing failed PPF off of RV's. He created his own formula of paint-safe adhesive remover over the years for his business and showed me how it worked. Two sprays from a squirt bottle and a minute later he got the results below. I ended up buying a bottle and finished both sides of the bed in 20 minutes and it shines like it was never there. Not trying to sell anyone on it but the guy was stoked he had 4 customers make youtube videos showing how his product worked for their RV and the fact I found him on google maps. If anyone wants more info I would be glad to share.

    Before:

After he showed me how it worked within a minute:
