Don't bother. He just makes things up on here. Has no data to back up anything he says. WOn't respond when caught contradicting himself.

Excellent  Watching a dumpster fire can be fun, might as well let him continue the ways of the keyboard warrior.

Next gen Taco looks to have a rear link suspension. Will ride much better and bounce much less if that comes to fruition.

Seems like that’s where the truck market is going.

Does that make the Toyota motor more reliable than the Ford motor?

Both Lexus and Ford build a 5.0 v8 motor. Which is more reliable? What are the stats on those two?

With out looking at the stats. There are far more 5.0 Fords on the road than, 5.0 Lexus vehicles.

That would make the Ford look more reliable, if using those metrics.

The Tundra, new LC/Lexus, Sequoia all went with a real link suspension. Tacoma EV in 2024 has it. Most likely the petrol Tacoma will most likely.

Tundras are fine if you really need one.

But I bet you'd enjoy the savings of other options more.

Most RV buyers probably are not concerned with fuel prices. If I ordered a RV a year ago, and haven't taken delivery yet. I think I would be reconsidering that purchase.

If you have owned both you have a dog in the fight, if not then you are just speculating and assuming. The ford 3.5 ecoboost is very reliable. The new Toyota 3.5 is unknown but issues with the 3.5 platform in the tacoma and now the tundra is alarming. I've not YET had issues with mine but if i go off road and sit on an angle I shouldn't have to worry about blowing it up because the oil fails to flow or my turbo grenades.

It's a shame but Toyota will fix it. Doesn't make the entire platform unreliable. Just the turbo wastegate need to be fixed.

It set a tone tho, right off the gate having issues due to rushing and not testing. This is a big problem that Toyota should not have coming from the supposably most reliable manufacture. The have started falling behind and now trying to play catchup and seems they are rushing out stuff so they can compete with ford and ram who clearly jumped ahead in the last few years. They are like the old people of the manufactures in refusing to improve and innovate vs just doing the same old thing.

Lol this thread borderlines on being mentally challenged.

Neither the tundra or tacoma is right for you. If your to slow to identify why you want to own a truck.

It's kinda like blaming the size of shoe you bought, for not fitting..

Forget the wastegate buy a new tundra new generation or the last generation 3 year of taco. Easy choice

Well they do need to improve that's for sure but they know how to engineer. That's why I went with toyota over 25 years ago. I have faith in them because they are an old respected brand doing the same thing. Because that works. Thus their resistance to BEV's. But they are adapting.

Gas was: $6.19/$6.29/$$6.49 a gallon this morning in CA. I would figure that into your continuing cost.
