can’t go wrong either route I’ve always been a benchmade fan. They are not cheap but man it’s a beast in the kitchen

Dont have experience with this knife particularly. But a skelotonized S90v fixed blade at under a $100 is pretty good. Looks like you could gut/skin out an elk pretty easy with it. Trouble for me has always been sharpening the S90v (I have the benchmade altitude; bright orange one so I don't lose it)

    Epic mail call today!

Signed copy of Bob Terzuola’s expanded version of his book “The Tactical Folding Knife”.

Two Spyderco Para 3s from the cutlery shop exclusive. Decided I’m going to offer scales for this knife and will eventually give away the second one on my Instagram.

And to top everything off! A very new (DOB 12/27/2021) second hand, small leafy sebenza 31!

Had a 15% discount code and free shipping. $63 to the door. May end up making a set of scales for it. That vertical belt sander has been collecting dust.

I've always had cheap promo folding knives. Just picked up a Buck 110 to be used as my go to daily carry pocket knife.

Got a PM2 in S45VN the other day. Partially paid for with $50 in KnifeCenter rewards. Good program if anyone is interested. And they don't charge any sales tax there.
Also got some micarta scales made by Flytanium. I really like the G10 though. Probably going to keep it stock for a while. Although I would like a deep carry clip.

So I'm taking a step back in my knife making journey. Ive decided that before I can start to offer CNC machined folders, I need to master making fixed blades by hand. Mostly. so now I’m ordering a 2x72 belt sander, as well as a heat treat oven, which I was going to need eventually. I will still cut the blade profile on my CNC mill, but then I will finish it on the sander. My original idea was to machine out the bevels of my folders, similar to how Grimsmo does on the norseman. But after receiving my Herman Slim the other month I really started to appreciate the hand ground bevel work. So that is on my list to master. Wish me luck.

Oh, and here is my first fixed blade model. Still needs some refinement, but this is close to how I want it.

I understand. I wouldn’t be either if I wasn’t doing this side gig. Lol

If you have Facebook you can follow my page, Hazy Design Studio. I will be doing another giveaway at the end of April and will make a post on Facebook for people to enter. The scales for that knife are going to be even better!

The Spyderco Mules whatever steel the most recent drops where. I’ve got Z-Max, Magnacut, and SRS13/SUS405.

For my own knives I’m working on I intend to use CPM-20CV for my folding knives, and for my fixed blades I’m not sure yet. But I do want to try and match the fixed blade steel to the type of knife whether it’s a hunting/skinner, edc, camp/heavy duty.

After selling my large inkosi in s35vn last year, I knew I would get another down the road. Picked up one in S45vn.
