Took my 10 year old out and had my father-in-law to change a disc one the harrow that I cracked, he has had it for 30 plus years(it has been cracked for 20 but I finished it off). We took it apart and re greased the bushings and put it back together. We get it done and he asked me how much was the disc, I tell him 50.00 and he tells me he paid 50.00 for it from a friend “.

    Reserected from the dead.
Left hydro pump resealed and installed. Messy job, but pretty easy.

Presently running on the hoist to make sure hydro is leak free.

I think I still have my oil leak. I replaced the hose. I'm guessing the nipple on the oil cooler is cracked.

Decided to prep the boat for next weeks steelhead fishing. Glad I did. Left wheel bearing had water intrusion. Rust marks on the bearing and race. New bearings, race and seal. Good top go.

That one is always a fun read. I got one from Gormann-Rupp today that looks like a screenshot of a computer running MS-DOS.

Is that old three-drum a Babcock & Wilcox by any chance?

I used to do a LOT of that... only just got rid of my table (a 36x48 with a really nice Vemco drafting machine) a couple of years ago. Still have boxes of pens, rulers, compasses... probably $10-15K worth of Staedtler & Koh-I-nor stuff when purchased new... a big indexed folder with >150 templates... I could sit for hours working on plans of any sort.

The upper-right "drum" is (I think) just a collector/manifold, so not normally referred to or counted as a drum, because it's not part of the steam generation process.

Speaking of drafting tables, a customer gave this one to the kids a while back.

What kind of oxymoron thing is this?
    A “non adjustable adjustment”
    Must be a engineering indecision.

Ah. It is labeled as a drum, but I only know the basics of a steam boiler.
