Relentless Fabrication 2nd gen Stingray Bumper Group Buy Thread

M8000S. I didn't have to relocate the controller for the install either. I'm installing a supercharger a few weeks so I may have to relocate the winch controller if it interfere it's the intercooler.

Mine was the first one built and I brought the winch in when they fabricated it so @RelentlessFab was able to confirm it would fit.

 

Has anyone tried to fit one of the new badlands winches from harbor freight? They are more within budget range than warn at the moment and I've heard good things from early reviewers...

 

Thanks, I may go that route. I was looking at the Zeon series, but I think it may be too big and overkill for my wheeling adventures.

Please reply to the original email chain when you signed up and were added to our list to confirm you still want to order. In that reply please include full name and shipping address as well as phone number and indicate if you want to order the bumper bare/raw steel or powder coated. Bumper base price looks to be $699 this time around (Powder coat and shipping additional) with where material and labor costs have gone over the last year.
If theres anyone on the fence, please send an email with that info and you can still be added until we close the order/payment window. We'll start sending invoices as soon as we receive the email with the info, and want all sent invoices to be paid up by 3/20/22 Sunday night.

IMO the Zeon is overrated. I had a Platinum 10-S on our 4th gen T4R and I have one on my Gladiator as well.
The good- High quality, wireless remote with temperature feedback and electric free spool clutch actuation. Quick line speeds.
The Bad- Brutally expensive, wireless remote charges with a Micro USB and is dead every 2-3 months of sitting in the glove box. To use the winch then you need to connect it to power and are tied to the vehicle interior with the charger. Large frame/bulky, doesn't fit in all bumpers.

I recommend a Warn VR series 9 times out of 10. They're more compact, and less than half the price of a Zeon, still have a wireless remote (but come with a standard Warn remote plug that you can connect straight to the winch if it goes dead!) and use a coin cell type battery in the remote. Sure they're Warn's cheaper import line, but they're higher quality than any other import winch I've come across and you still get Warn support and parts/repair if necessary.

 

I notice there are two flavors of this bumper, one with the TACOMA text in the mesh and one without. I'm personally a fan without the text but to each their own. Which one of these version is being offered in this group buy @RelentlessFab ?

 

It's only sold without the Tacoma logo.

Great winch. We are a Warn authorized reseller, however if the absolute cheapest price is your concern then finding an online or other local dealer that doesn't charge shipping is your best bet. If someone is local to us, most definitely hit us up for a winch, we can get you a Warn, Superwinch, etc.
