I’ve got some tricks to try out on the truck side. It lets you input the trailer specs and will help reduce sway. I like the tow mode that helps braking and locks out higher gears. I may get a WD hitch if I feel I need it. I’m not opposed to anything making it more stable.

I'll take some pics this weekend of how I load the XJ to make it super fast and simple. It also locates it in the perfect spot everytime so the dogbone between the 2 axles is level like it's supposed to be with the trailer level hooked to the truck. It took me a few tries to get the right drop and set up but once I did I was golden. I can have it loaded in abt 10 min. I don't use the ramps with my dovetail I just drive up it put blocks under the dove tail so it doesn't pull up on the tongue. Ramps are only used if I'm broke and have to winch up onto the trailer.

I picked up some of these straps- VULCAN Complete Axle Strap Tie Down Kit with Snap Hook Ratchet Straps - Silver Series - Includes (4) 22" Axle Straps, (4) 36" Axle Straps, and (4) 8' Snap Hook Ratchet Straps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YQ1VX4T?_encoding=UTF8

looks easy enough to go straight to the d rings and wrap around the axle and LCA.

I’m adding a bit to the bed to balance it out aesthetically. Looked too stumpy to me. Still have a few more pieces to add. Those two with the bends and notches took me 140 years, but I got it done first shot. Tired of tubes haha

Those are the same ones I have, I like them a lot. The shorter axle straps seem to work out the best

Nice. I liked that they clipped at the hook area. Especially for the front if the suspension compresses a bit, there’s no way for it to slip off.

I didn’t get to bending up tube for the shock mounts but the sway bar and bump stops are in. Put tires on it and cycled it to verify the wide ass sway bar clears then pulled everything apart and full welded all the joint brackets up.

Tried out the new trailer and finished up the truggy bed. Even without the spare on I think it balanced it out much better aesthetically.

Beadlocks and 37s!!! Looking sick! Funny how that trailer is almost not long enough for the tractor.

Haha yeah I need to bump up a tire size. Won’t be long. I was surprised too, but it’s still got about four feet left. With the bush hog or finishing mower it might dangle off though.

The bed cage and suspension part of this is done. On to the fuel cell, pumping, wiring and a whole bunch of other stuff.
