Rear View camera not the stock one

So the scenario 2022 taco 4x4 double cab 6a - trd sport premium
I got pinsu racks on my canopy and I want to mount a camera on it
I can run the cable down the rack all the way into the engine compartment ... no problem
but it needs to be connected to the rear back up lights as the power source to show the back up cam lines etc
The camera is on all the time as I will use it as my rear view mirror ... but it changes when you put it in R ... if you know what I mean
so basically I'm looking for the power point in the engine compartment where when you put the truck in reverse it puts the back up lights on, that will facilitate that , fuse or wire ...

wouldn't it be easier to pick that off the switch on the transition that turns the lights on?

 

Yeah, nice to cut into a vehicle wire vs using an add-a-fuse...
