I haven't been 3d scanning for bed dimensions but will definitely consider making them.

I got a quote for a 2nd gen bed panel I designed and the cost seemed to be more than people would be willing to pay due to a thicker aluminum being required.

What would everyone say is a reasonable cost for one bed Panel (1 side or front of the bed)?
I can do my best to get it close.

This front bed panel came out to $450 (including shipping) and no powder coating.Screenshot_20220312-114154-730.jpg

How much roughly would a bed side panel cost?

In 3/16" aluminum I'd guess about the same ($400-450).

If i use 1/8" aluminum I might be able to get the price down to mid $300s but 1/8" would not be great for heavy things like a high lift jack

I’m just now seeing this old thread, but I’d be interested in one for the 1st Gen beds also. Nice work OP.

These went into production and I have since sold the MOLLE panel portion of my business to Underland Off-road.

I think they still produce the 1st gen panels

Nope, looks like they don't offer anything older than 2007 according to the drop down menu. Thanks for the response though.

It's still offered but out of stock.

You be down to do any Xtra cab rear roof panels? That back wall is nice but my pup has her living quarters there. Couple rivnuts on each side and a panel across the tip would be super sexy

Create the CAD and get it out to SCS, or get it done locally

I would think shipping may be the hardest part here if someone made these for sale

Ya, looks like a fairly easy piece to reproduce. Could probably divide it into two pieces for better shipping

Seems fair to me. Most places give you a t shirt or nothing.

So since this is an old post, and the linked site doesnt offer them anymore... was any others made? like the crew cab version or the truck bed 1st gen version or any other windows etc? Can we get ahold of the cad files if you're no longer going to make these?

Fusion 360 is free and easy to use.

I'd suggest downloading one of many free available online and adjusting the file to fit your specific truck (wherever you wish to fit it).

Items don't have to be in 3D when you initially draw them. Use the sheet metal section in Design to add flanges as needed.
