Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

I think FV will figure it self out over the next 2 months. I can see it bottoming around 2900. I really think the NASDAQ is gonna take the brunt of the wreckage. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it bottom around 8K. It's been running way to hot for way to long.

Earnings and margins are too good for that, and intetest rates too low, imo. 3500 minimum.

Didn't it strike you as odd that AMZN decides to do a 20:1 split while everything is nose-diving? All the big hedge funds are long on AMZN. Pump for one last gasp to maintain their short positions before the whole shithouse comes crumbling down. Retail buys in "cheap" ---> Hedge funds sell call premiums ---> Pump ---> Cash out and live for another week or so

Honestly, no.

High share prices make employee comp in stock difficult. If you have a $3000/share situation, you cannot offer 10% of comp as stock for, say, a 100k total comp employee. You have to do either 9 or 12. Below 30k, it becomes impossible.

I expect it had more to do with that than anything else.

I'm still sitting on my GME position, but at this point I expect the government to simply intervene if it ever MOASS'd into the 10s of thousands or more and threatened the stability of their donors. I don't think they'd ever let the payout happen.

 

I'm on team it's all so corrupt it's gonna crash spectacularly when the chickens finally come home to roost.

I tend to agree with Esoteric - NASDAQ is really the one in danger here. The FAGMAN companies compose a bigass chunk of the SP500 but they don't really have to worry. It's the Ubers and Nikolas and DoorDash's of the world that need to worry if interest rates rise, even small amounts.

All right it was an end of the World burger tonight. Inspired buy the movie don’t look Up. (That’s what the family was watching while I was cooking)
Start with 80:20 ground beef. Diced up some green onion mix it in… Add some Jacobson‘s garlic finishing sea salt. Grill burger.
While cooking the tater tots, Cook bacon. When the bacon is done flashfry the slices of jalapeño in the grease. Place a bed of greens on the bottom bulky sesame seed bun. Create a 50-50 horseradish mustard barbecue sauce mix. Drizzle that on top of your greens. When the burger is done top it with a slice of pepper jack. Place the fried jalapeños on the pepper jack. Place a bed of bacon on top of the greens, add the burger and the top bun. Enjoy with the end of the world.
