I'll have you know I got out of bed in my underwear to take these just for you...I had Goodyear Ultraterrains on my last tacoma, alittle more aggressive sidewall so they stuck out just a tad more.

 

Could have waited... lol.

Really appreciate it. That's what I was hoping for.

 

I had to change the tails on my WCP. For me, the chrome wasn't working with the color.

 

Oooooh I really like that! How'd you do it? I'm doing a full chrome delete.

 

I bought the OEM tails that came on several models a few years ago. I picked these because they don't have chrome but they're also not too dark which might also look weird on WCP.

I believe SR and SR5 models come with the all red tail lamps. Sport, OR, and Limited have the same tails, Pro has the black trim set... I think.

 

I'm going to find a set of pro tail lights...

 

Best bet to be honest. I actually like the clear lens, just not the chrome. I'd go for a full chrome delete on the outside, but I'm not taking the factory LED lamps off of the front.

 

Yeah, I love my LED headlights. But I swapped the tails and pulled off the chrome emblems. Really let's the WCP shine.

 

I'll be installing black emblem covers this weekend. Already have the black tailgate insert. I think it'll look good with my wheels. Think I might remove the bed decal.

 

Did the same thing weeks ago. There isn't a whole lot for badging on these, not like cars/trucks years ago. Seemed like there was a big ugly chrome logo on every damn panel.

I remember when gold badging was a huge thing on Toyotas...

 

If it doesn't have chrome bumpers, it shouldn't have chrome emblems. Also if it comes with the black tailgate insert...IT SHOULDN'T HAVE CHROME EMBLEMS....Come on toyota that shouldn't even be an option, all or nothing.

 

My sentiments precisely. Mine came with the black letters for the tailgate, AND painted bumper caps. Yet the lettering was all chrome.

Uhhh... no. Those had to go.

 

The chrome in the lights is gross especially with this colour, I ordered the meso tails and I'm going to order the morimoto headlights asap
