Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

    I used floor jacks and 4x4s and the full weight of the truck to get the pivots as tucked into the frame as possible. As suggested by Harry.

    Things are starting to come together. These inner fenders sure do take a ton of time to fit if you care about body lines though.

    For the LCA kit alignment tabs...
    Did you all drill and tap? Or drill and thru bolt? Haven't climbed under yet to see if thru bolt is an option, I'm thinking it's not.

    What bolt did you use 1/4-20?

    I wanna hit the hardware store on my way home and didn't measure the hole yet

    Just drilled thru it on mine. 1/4-20 nut and bolt is what I used.

    Did anyone have a problem with the rear cam bolt not fitting on stock lowers? The bolt is too big for the oem bushing sleeve

    You’re supposed to swap out that bushing for a third gen bushing, which uses a larger bolt.

    edit: or ream out the bushing sleeve to 5/8”

    Rockauto has some in stock and looks like they can ship them pretty quick for pretty cheap, at least to me in VA. Could have them by Tuesday.

    edit: looks like harry says you can just ream out the sleeve to 5/8” which would save you some time. Especially if you have the reamer from the double shear steering

    How aggressive are your wheels? If You went something close to 8” wide 0 offset then that would pretty close to my aggressive wheels on the 2.25 kit

    • PLEASE NOTE- This kit increases the rear lower control arm bolts size from 9/16" to 5/8". You have the option of reaming the OE bushing sleeve to 5/8" or you can purchase the 3rd gen lower control arm bushings. (ACDelco Part number 45G3800)
