Whats the trick to getting the lug/bolt out when the bolt snapped on the other side of the rim and it all just spins? I am kinda stuck.

    Thanks.

Well good news is if it's on the backside it's a lot easier to do, but you're going to have to end up pulling the axle.

It's really not too bad a job, but if the other five are still solid and you feel like it might be a little out of your depth you can safely drive it with five of six to the nearest shop and they should be able to take care of it pretty quickly without being too too expensive.

    Sheit. Always is.

This is why I use a torque wrench on my lugs.

You're not in Florida by chance are you?

I might could lend a hand if so.

Can you get a box end wrench on the nut? Otherwise you'll need to stop the nut/bolt from spinning somehow. Then use a drill bit, one that just fits inside or is slightly larger than the threads and drill that sucker out. Cutting oil or any lube will help.

The best way I’ve found to solve this is try to center punch the stud and start with a small drill bit working to larger one about the size of stud. Once you drill through the lug nut threads it will come right off. It looks like you just have a couple of threads on lug nut holding it so should come off pretty easy. As far as having to pull axle to replace stud you’ll probably be fine with just new studs without pulling axle. Usually I’ve found the splines on stud are much softer than axle and new ones pulled through should hold tight. You just need to be sure to use good sharp bits because that stud is hard

I like that idea. Harbor freight here I come.
I was going to try and cut rim around it if I had/have to.

Also after you get this repaired how did this happen. If it was from a tire shop that over torqued the studs......I always re torque mine after a tire shop visit. Ive broken many because they were over torqued from tire shops and didn't realize it. Now i check every time. At least i'm in my driveway when I check and not on the side of the road changing a tire.
