Somebody finally got a proper set of wheels. The small change in offset makes a big difference. I understand now.

Went with gunmetal gloss. No regrets. Will get better photo when new lugs get swapped tomorrow.

Discount crew was not happy about how the wheel face came packed in duct tape.

Had the wheel vinyl way before I picked the truck up from the dealership on Thursday. Decided to start it off with organizers in the center console and glove box along with an adapter for my hydroflask. Did the emblem overlays and my wheel vinyl inserts today and had it tinted all around-- Air Blue 80 on the windshield, 15% on the front sides, and 35% on the back sides and rear.

Slapped the skid on - was missing half the stock skid - so whatever, made the job easier!

cabin and engine filter tomorrow, then spark plugs & wires for the 2000 and I should be in good shape

I have no garage so that's my new Taco storage area. Had a different one but it collapsed with 30 inches of heavy snow on it with my Taco inside.

I believe the TRD Sport only has the front engine skid. What skid did you go with?

….and skid is being generous. Glorified pebble deflector.

I just installed the RCI engine and transmission skid(s). I went with the steel powder coated. It gets even worse…..the TRD Off-road has a plastic skid on the fuel tank. That’s next. Waiting on my sliders currently.

Where did you buy the wheel vinyl and was it easy enough to put on? will it stay on for a long time you think, i deal with winter snow and salt.

A member(s) on here sells it on etsy:
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/1152259660/off-road-wheel-decals-custom-made-to-fit?click_key=67fa7253ed36039ab9e811ce1476e172523510cb:1152259660&click_sum=f0f15caf&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=wheel+vinyl+tacoma&ref=sr_gallery-1-2&organic_search_click=1

I've wrapped one of my cars and a handful of hoods/roofs for other cars so I have a little more experience with vinyl but it was fairly easy to install; maybe a little over an hour taking my time. It's Oracal and the adhesive is pretty good so it seems like it'll last but I'm not entirely sure about how it'll do in snow and salt. They give you extra pieces(about 9 extra, you need 6 per wheel) so you can replace them if you happen to damage a few overtime.
