What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Where did you buy the wheel vinyl and was it easy enough to put on? will it stay on for a long time you think, i deal with winter snow and salt.

 

If only the distance to empty was 69 it would be perfect. I still like it

I've wrapped one of my cars and a handful of hoods/roofs for other cars so I have a little more experience with vinyl but it was fairly easy to install; maybe a little over an hour taking my time. It's Oracal and the adhesive is pretty good so it seems like it'll last but I'm not entirely sure about how it'll do in snow and salt. They give you extra pieces(about 9 extra, you need 6 per wheel) so you can replace them if you happen to damage a few overtime.

That would explain it, black powder coat TRD pro skid off CL - looking at RCI tranny & cat guard next

probably overkill as the most off road This thing will see is rutted out Forrest service roads for camping, but w/e

 

That 80’ was “reasonably” straight when I got it. I earned all those dents and figured the scale version deserved them as well.

I face-planted my truck in a really deep ravine and it kind of caved in the center of that thing. I’ll try it again with the new skids next time I’m out there.

 

Less weight. +2 mpg

The harness that comes with it is all you need. It connects in between your taillight and the body harness.

 

Was finally able to get some time to finish up making my tailgate insert. Turned out pretty good. Put two cup holders big enough to hold my Yeti cups or a beer can.
Also I did the Static chalk bag mod. Now my wife’s mega water bottle has a place to go and won’t be rolling around on the floor.

 

The kit comes with a plug and play reverse light harness that goes directly to the LPR.

 

Installed Rago bed stiffeners, then on the last tail light bolt I broke the mount off the housing. Huge bummer. But it gives me excuse to get TRD Pro tails I guess.
