Sucks waiting for it to dry and I don't have a hair dryer.

I stuffed a little bit more cotton in the abdomen, and hoping it dries so I can glue it shut.

The carapace I'm afraid would be too dry by then, so I'll glue it back somewhat "floating" since I'll be mounting it to show off the underside anyway.

Yeah I'm going to pin it in the shadow box.

As for gutting, it's really just a hollow shell.

The abdomen gets all twisted up as they get out of their molt, then dries. Pain in the ass to let it soak and unravel it so I'm surprised I opened it as much as I was able to.

Thank you, that’s very good advice. The system piping is actually 1” throughout but the largest regulator I could get was in the 3/4” variation. No big deal. It’s not like multiple techs are using air at the same time. This is setup more for accessible air outlets throughout the shop rather than capacity. Maximum two people would be using the system at any given time.

The compressor is impressive for a single phase. It’s 23 CFM @ 90 PSI.

My issue was the bearing in the AC clutch was going bad. You can test if that's the case by removing the belt and spinning the bearing by hand, if you feel resistance or hear it being crunchy, replace it

Nice. Looks symmetrical. Are you going to use smaller headed pins or keep those?
I'm sure there are tons of YouTube vids

    Just going to use these.

I could've bought smaller ones, but the hairs on this thing are so long and the legs just attach to everything it touches. Kind of a pain in the butt

Gear lube... The spider gears looked like new when I took it apart only, one bearing seized the rest looked brand new somehow

    Ran mismatched tires for years

They're easier to work with too. Going to look cool framed up. Maybe a good brown wood frame...
