Mine is only 200 watts..2 or 4 speaker capable. I just run 100x2 on 3 way speakers. Small room so even halfway fills it up well.

Navy. We had 30 days to join another branch. I wanted Air Force, but they were overstocked with recruits at the time.

Damn I have this in my basement for like 30 years now. It was my wife's before we got married. She did the stupid rent to own thing from Arron's I believe. I want to take it to the dump on my semi annual trips but no..... we have to keep it for some reason.

I'm listening to my 25+ years Technics receiver right now. Always loved Panasonic products since I was a kid. Their plasma tv's were great, sadly gone now. But they still make amps :)

Plattsburgh AFB? The Kc-135s C-5s and Fb-111s used to fly 24/7 around here. Now the sound of freedom comes courtesy of VT national guard across the lake in the form of F-35s.

I think my sister bought this at the BX when she joined the Air Force in 1973.
    ACF3303E-0D53-4B59-8B4E-22E7F9BB39E5.jpg
    Quad with discrete/sql/matrix/stereo modes.

She gave it to my mom 40 years ago and one of the grandkids broke the power switch about ‘88 so it wound up in my shed. I fixed the switch and cleaned all the potentiometers and repaired the blown out light in the vu-meter.

This is basically the music machine for my workshed and outdoor blacksmithing area/boat yard. It’s got 8 speakers (14 drivers) hooked up in a rather complicated matrix array with crossover switches.

I tossed the old Girard turntable but I kept the quad cartridge that goes with this. I think I even have all her old quad records which wound up at my moms, and are stuck in between the old LPs.

Here’s something from the early 1900s.
    957108F0-4131-4764-A055-6749D2C3BF24.jpg
This belonged to my great grandfather.
I sharpened it up and stropped it one day, and tried to shave with the thing.

    It was an interesting experience.
