:pccoffee: Morning everybody. I hate the time change.

It got down to 27* at 6 this morning, wind chill was 19. It’s supposed to be back to normal by Tuesday.

Good morning folks! I made it a little past Allentown and decided it was probably a good idea to stop the crosswinds were brutal yesterday afternoon. It kept drifting thin layers of snow across 78 in little narrow places which weren’t that big a deal then I came across one about a 100 yards long I kept repeating don’t blow now. So I decided to just stop get a room. This tall empty van moves quite a bit in the wind and it took forever to get the damn thing no sense taking chances with it.

I look at as the same thing as moving through a time zone.

Merning peeps! She got a wee bit chilly out there last night.. I saw 17° at 3 am when I was feeding the woodstove. No idea what the wind chill was, but it was blowing pretty strong. It's nice and clear with the sun reflecting off of the snow, wind is blowing with 23° (before WC).

The new-to-me snow blower did so-so, it moved the dry snow but completely jammed up when I hit the slushy snow. Maybe 5 ponies isn't enough power.

Went to bed at 10 last night, couldn't keep my eyes open.
Woke up at 0800. I don't feel like I got an extra hour of sleep.

    Weird

Everything turned out all right I almost beat the storm to Danbury made my drops there and in Long Island. But I couldn’t quite pull off the rest of my plan. I was going to try to get back in your area and spend the night but thought better of it. That wind was something else yesterday and it’s funny it would blow the snow off the trees and you could see it coming. Oh shit moment LOL!

I usually make a stop there going to Long Island and when I do the Vermont run. On the Vermont run I continue east a ways before turning north. I bet I pass close by you.

I lived in Iceland for six months, In mid December there was about 3.5 hours of daylight, by the end of May there was about 21 hours of daylight.. that was tough to adjust to.
