Good reason to find something to do along the way I would think

 

Thought of you on my drive home a couple weeks ago; not sure where you live but travel out of Illinois, over the Mississippi and into Iowa near Bettendorf. Wondered if it was very far from where you lived?
I was in Indiana too on my drive back from Monroe Michigan.
Reminds me I need to get on the internet and see what, where and how much I owe for tolls.

Roads were a damn mess last night. Before even hitting the main road leaving work there was a patch of ice I almost slid through. Of course a Washington County sheriff's deputy had to be sitting there. Was probably laughing his ass off as I was trying to get going. Drifts and ice galore. Think my average speed was 30mph. Normally zooming home around 60...

 

Maybe?! Think he disappeared already!

 

A shared resource deal between nuclear power generation stations. So I spent 34 days working at Fermi 2 . The power plant right on Lake Erie.
I bet it's really nice area in the warmer months.

I think we’re going back up to Bettendorf around the 23rd or 24th for a few days.

 

Most likely a one time thing for work up there. It all depends on what power plants ask for help, then what stations have resources to share. I've also been to the West side of Michigan that took me near there before too. Palisades Station
