    Hello everyone my truck has code p2121 can't find the sensor so looks like I have to buy the whole throttle body does anyone know the part number . When I got to look for them on Toyota parts store they have like 3 different ones

    Ouch!, those TB aren't cheap. I looked on up for my truck to see what one would cost. Good luck with getting this problem resolved. Let us know what you end up doing.

    what does the code say? What sensor? Just cus it says it doesnt mean your cel will go away. For oem one youre looking at hundreds of dollars for a shot in the dark.

    Yeah this shit sucks and it happens right when I get laid off just my luck. Ill likely have to order a new one almost 500 dallors with the gasket .but before I do that I wondering if a throttle body from a 2000 4runner would fit it . I have a 4runner laying around with 130,000 miles with transmission problems would the tb from it fit on my truck I tried looking it up but haven't found much about it

    will have to wait on those with way more expertise than I have to weigh in on this. You could always compare part numbers on a site like Rock Auto to see if they're compatible. I just saw this suggestion in another TB post.

    You do not need a complete new throttle body to replace the TPS.

    The diagrams are a little tricky unless you know all the ins-and-outs of the various options- which is why you are seeing 3. They are likely: 4 cylinder, pre-03.5 V6, and 03.5-04 V6 with fly by wire throttle cable. Unless you knew all of that, it's hard to pick the right one.

    Either way- The TPS is available separately.

    However, I think you should do some further digging to determine if that is indeed the issue before you spend money on it (especially if you're on the job hunt).
