Done, 5 coats of Tru-Oil. But after refinishing the stock, now I need to work on the barrel!

 

That turned out very nice! I remember way back when my stepfather took a shotgun and redone the wood himself and had a shop do the bluing. That shop did a superb job and it was such a rich looking blue, amazing work. I think it cost a bunch though for back in the day.

Decided I better have a surge protector for my plasma table and computer.

Found this one, rated at 1200 joules.

I'm glad I plugged it into my wall 1st ands not the computer and plasma table.

Bastard blew the breaker as soon as I plugged it in!

I took it apart and this is what I found in a brand, new power strip.

 

So it protected itself from itself….

Putting it to work. From 3/8” thick x 1.5” wide to this. First time making knife handles.

 

New project? It is a FE big block 352, nice engine.

I notice many of the cars out west have the same appearance with the paint gone from all the horizontal surfaces.

Often up here in the rust belt the entire bottom of the car may be gone but the paint still looks ok.

 

Dodge didn't make a convertible Dart after 1969.
