I tried the Revotec BLHM looking ones with silverstar ultra h4s because I thought my ccfl halos were a bit busy. Lighting was not as good with dims or brights, so much so I went back with my ccfl halos with h7 silverstar ultras for lows. Also have HID fogs to help. The ultra in the h7 was improvement vs the plain silverstar h7 in the ccfls. Staying with them. So now my attic has oem silvers, revotec blacks & an extra pr of gen 2 ccfl halos. :D

I'm gonna hang on to what I have and see what happens next time I get bored with mine. Might need them to do projector retrofit thing. I could maybe take the extra pr of ccfls apart and use those black projectors in the revotec housing.

i guess i'll check into the HID mod. dont even know enough to know if i care to try it.

and the fogs put more light on the ground, but not far enough out that it's of any use at regular speeds.

i aimed the headlight properly this weekend. but to aim the hi beams to not shine DIRECTLY into oncoming traffic, i would have to aim lowbeams into the lane to my right.

Just put in my revotec headlights and the HIDs from Slimcubby yesterday. The light output is awesome compared to the stock bulbs. I aimed the lights down some and didnt get flashed at all, but I only drove it last night so it might happen but who knows.

You took you bumper off to get to the fourth bolt? I thought about doing that.

I didnt, but it took me about 45 minutes to change the lights out this time. Faster than the first time, doing the BHLM.

I wasnt in a hurry and I was doin other things in the garage as well. Im thinking about 45 minutes total working time.

I took the bumper off to add in the lower grille "mesh" that matches my grille. I figured that since the bumper was off might as well do the lights.

    crap bolted and welded together....
quick thing with these headlights and you guys adding HID's. Did you look on the housing all over to make sure it was safe for HID use? I know some of the egay headlights state not to use HID's. (its actually molded into the plastic stating that) So just a caution, but looking good fellas :)
