    We had Ernies toy shop in Our town. It was mostly wooden toys you had to put together. Dont miss much off that. I now find myself doing toys out of old scraps from my lumber pile.

    Before there was a Target (1968) we used to go to a place called Shopper’s City.

    I remember buying drill bits and bolts at a war surplus store.

    I became eligible for the draft the same year it ended. My number was 168. It was always a big deal back then, telling people what your draft number was.

    I remember getting a ticket for having the back end of my car jacked up too high.
