    Hey guys,

After getting screwed by Dimple plugs(no trace of anything after three months, won't respond to phone calls or emails), I looked for some other high quality neodymium plugs made from steel to replace the factory plugs at 700 miles and found Votex, an American company based in Wisconsin.

I spoke with the owner Zach, and supplied him part numbers for our trucks' drain plugs. He just emailed me that it's ready and I thought I would share if anyone would like a high quality replacement option in addition to the available Lexus plug, and doesn't mind paying more for quality. they're $30 shipped:

    https://votex-us.com/DP029-1

They also make a neodymium drain plug for our rear diff, manual transmission, and TC (M18x1.5x15 plug part# DP007) that is super high quality. I use his engine drain plug and like the M18s, and just ordered the M24x1.5 to do the front diff. I just use the factory gasket but his gaskets work fine too. There's free shipping now.

I am not compensated in any way, but Zach went through the process of developing his own brand of plug for us after talking with me and thought I would spread the word in case anyone here is interested.

He should sell a “set” for both manual and auto trans. I would be interested in oil pan, auto trans, transfer case, front and rear diff.

Definitely. He has the oil pan we use, M12x1.25. I believe the auto trans uses an M18x1.5? not sure. If you know the thread pitch, he probably makes it. The transfer case, manual transmission and rear diff drains all use DP007(M18x1.5), and the front diff drain uses the M24x1.5 I linked. It would cost about $125 for all five. I'll run it by him to add them to the Tacoma search on his website.
