MGM is the best haha jk. I do like lunar rock and cement… MGM just always looks clean, even when it’s dirty. Anyways here’s my truck.

custom 87 octane sibi tune from sibibuilt in SoCal. I was nervous about gas prices for the 91 octane but should’ve just did it. No regearing… yet. The injen cold air intake combined with the tune really helped with the sluggishness after the front and rear bumpers.

Sharp looking rear bumper. What one is that? I like that it still retains a dedicated 2" receiver. I have a 1Up bike rack that I use often that I don't want to have to rely on using a flip up/behind the plate option for. The bumpers I've seen this on so far are the Relentless, the At The Helm, and 4xInnovations (not high clearance). That's not THAT heavy considering what it is. It seems all the cool bumpers are mostly high clearance. I am waiting on a 2022 OR that might be here at the beginning of April. It might make my eyes water to cut the body for a bumper, but I am strongly considering it.

What's your spare tire situation? If mounted under, does it hang down really low in relation to the bumper, or do you just keep your spare in the bed? For all the high clearance bumpers I see, I don't see many with them mounting a swing arm.

 

Swamped out the gray/chrome for black/chrome and had them wrapped in clear xpel. Meso Stage 1 installed too.

 

I'm a simple man, when I see another 3rd gen MGM, I park next to it (my SR on the left).

 

Thanks man. This one is the At The Helm Hc rear bumper, when you order you can choose to have the hitch receiver like I have it or hidden behind the flip panel license plate cover. I don’t have my spare under the truck since I’m running a larger tire and just keep it in the bed for now. ATH does make the same bumper with a single arm swingout option that has the tire carrier if you prefer that. I opted for ATH as it retained and had cutouts for the back up sensors. I definitely considered C4, CBI, Relentless, and Brute Force Fab when deciding on my bumper. Hope this helps!

Where'd you buy the Xpel? Did you find a premade Xpel kit for 3rd Gens or just get a roll?

 

I did the the whole front end, whole hood, pillars, roof line, whole fenders, grille surround, heads and fogs in x-pel. The shop did a amazing job... Paid through the ass for it, but sooo worth it. Decided to do the new tails because I've never had a clear lens tail lights, figured they would scratch so easy so I had them do the tails. It's one peice believe it or not, it looks like one slit to get rid of extra material was made, but the seem is tight. He does great work and also bitched how hard it was to do. Two shops wouldn't touch them.

I wanted so badly to like my Leitner forged rack, but I couldn’t hardly fit anything in those pods, and everything I stored in the back got covered in dirt and dust while hitting the trails. For a work truck, I could see it’s benefits, but not for brolanding. Ymmv
