    The original buckhorn sight is in a drawer, along with the front bead hood.
    The Williams aperture sight is easier for these old eyes...and required no modification or drilling.

    My maternal grandparents had a cottage in Perdido Beach, just over the line in Alabama. :cool:

    It's probably changed beyond all recognition by now.
    But I remember magnolia grandiflora, live oaks, Spanish moss, great fishing, not many people...
    ...buying shrimp straight off the shrimping boats at sunrise...[sigh]

    My taint comment was only in reference to the shape of our state, this IS the best part of FL to live in.

    We are still the “Redneck Riviera” with the live oaks, magnolias and Spanish moss. Unfortunately, the population has grown and the sleepy little fishing towns are big tourist traps now. It’s getting pretty hard to buy the days catch off the boats unless you know some of the small backwater marinas to go to.

    Perdido Beach is sadly not what you would remember. Hell, all the beaches are way to built up now. The Flora-Bama Bar is still going strong over there if you remember it.
