All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. BulletPoint Taco Bar with stubby CB mic holder and two-way FRS/GMRS radio holder. Uniden PRO505XL 40 ch CB. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. RCI sliders. Garmin Mini Dash Cam 2. CMC by Milogen Fabrication.
Thanks man! Those SCS wheels are solid! I really wanted Ray10’s but not in the budget at the moment. The ProComp’s were buy three get one free plus free shipping from 4Wheel Parts. Maybe Ray10’s later on. Your taco is gonna look good with either wheel and 32’s!

That sucks that it happened but it makes it a lot easier to pull the trigger on the new HC bumper! :D

Very much so! The new bumper will be cheaper than the whole mess of oem plastic and rubber required to repair the whole thing.

Thanks for the information. Good looking setup with the F5s. I've seen similar information but depending on set up, there seems to be some variability. Are those 265s or 285s (I can't quite make out the numbers).

Yeah, OEM can be pretty expensive for just about anything. Glad it wasn’t worse and no one was hurt! Looking forward to seeing the new bumper!

Thanks! You’re right about the variability, I forgot to mention those “preload specs” are for the standard 13” x 600lb coil Fox puts on these shocks. 95% sure about that.

Tires are 265/75r16, the F5s are 0 offset. 285s soon but not quite yet :)

I don’t care about your driving feelings, you’re behind me.. Negative life experiences with multiple thousand pound road lumps of metal forces me to be too cautious. 2 million miles of driving gives you a different perspective. It’s a red light, nobody is going anywhere. Not saying you, just saying, I too am an asshole. On topic wdyd.. applied this magical stuff today

I do not have enough posts to reply to the "ShmellFab LA area" post so I am trying here.

    @Shmellmopwho

    This is the way!

Ryan installed these sliders on Sunday. I went with a bit more extension as my oldest drives the tacoma to school and I don't trust the other kids to not put dings on it. I learned a lot about the Mandalorian set and searched up "the Volume" and all I can is what a game changer for FX. Great guy even though he is a Bronco fan. Thanks Ryan! Here are some pictures after a wash:

Installed my TRD Pro taillights and deAutoLED fog light bulbs. I'm digging the black housing vs the chrome that my original taillights had. I was also very torn between white vs amber fogs. Thankfully I found these deAutoLEDs that cycle between 5500k white, 3000k amber, 4300k white, the white-yellow-white "flash" or 3 pulses white-3, 3 pulses yellow, 3 pulses white. I highly doubt I will ever use the last 2 options (unless during an emergency). Took about 20 minutes to do the entire job. Later this week I will be installing my TRD Pro LED headlights (via sparksparts.com and used chloekuo for a 5% discount) as these stock halogen headlights leave quite a bit to be desired. Next week I will be installing my Body Armor Hi-Line bumper, WARN VR Evo 10S winch and 20" light bar.

Is that piece of wood there just to obscure your license plate? lol first for everything a simple edit on your phone could have done that. Never understood why people do that online any given day license plates are seen hundreds of times.

To each their own, I guess...

EDIT never mind looks like a cardboard box of some sort haha still funny...

Finished my sound deadening project for now. Realized there's nothing but bare metal under the rear cargo tray area so threw my last 2 sheets of Second Skin under that this weekend. I thought I had 3 sheets but since I don't know where the third went I had to put some Noico over the center section in order to get complete coverage (the Noico is amazing value, but the Second Skin is lighter and outperforms it without weighing panels down). Glad the cargo box covers everything because that inconsistency would otherwise drive me nuts lol. It did not nearly require as much disassembly as expected which made the install pretty quick and painless. Truck does sound a little quieter.

While I had everything apart I noticed that the plastic lids for the cover have no form of rattle-protection either so I applied foam tape to the underside of the tops to help quiet things down even further. So far it seems like that has also helped remedy a random rattle I had back there.

Overall, the truck is a much nicer place to be after deadening the cabin, but the parts I noticed the biggest difference from were the rear wall and rear floor / under cargo area. The doors being done are nice, especially since the Damplifier Pro didn't weigh them down, but the back area is the biggest reduction so far in road noise.

Awesome! This is basically the setup I'm going for, in terms of hauling bikes and a popup. What are you using to secure the bikes like that?

Billiebars and Yakima. I had to modify the front clamping system a bit to work with the bars and I secured the rear of the bike rack with a hexagon bolt as a theft deterrent but I also use a cable lock to wrap around the bikes and the bars.

Not 100% but they come out enough that it will prevent it from a parked car and not necessarily something higher like another truck or SUV. The real use is offroad but that is less than 5% of the time these days.

Cleaned out the garage so I can park my truck that’s coming this week in it. Very very excited.

I guess it’s all about where and how you park. I always try to have one side to the curb which only exposes one side.

I'm with you. I also like to park further out where there are less cars. But when my son drives it to school, he is limited to where he can park it and I don't trust the other kids. We have already had things moved on the truck like the ditch lights and someone removed the tie downs (but left them in the bed). Harmless but annoying.
