We do the license plate block thing because pics of our trucks on here have been used for scams and Craigslist fraud, robberies, etc.

I think fender flares might have saved the day in my case.

Cut up the bumper today, I’ve joined the viper cut squad. It was pretty easy, i taped off the line i wanted and used a milwaukee rotary tool to make the cut. After i put on some black auto edge trim to make it look factory.

Know it all too well. Grew up in Charleston and lived off hwy 61 a few miles south of Bees Ferry Rd. Father was a member of the West Ashley Outboard Motor Club. We used their private landing some but usually put in at Limehouse or even Wappoo Cut. Used to ski, fish and shrimp from Limehouse as well as Wappoo depending on tides and where we wanted to go. Spent a lot of time on the sand bar at low tide. Used to be much more difficult to load and launch back in the day before they had docks at those landings. The tide can be a bitch. Did most of our shrimping at Crab Bank and would put in at Shem Creek. Lived there all my life until 2014. Still have family and friends there and frequently visit. Spending time on the water there is what I miss the most. That and pluff mud...lol. Good to see someone else in the area.

Did the locking gas cap thing this afternoon, Stant 10504, hoping it's the right one. I'll know tomorrow if its going to cause any lights to come up on the dash. I couldn't get the retaining ring off the stock cap without damaging it so I pulled the whole thing out.

From all the reading I have done I hate to say that looks counterfeit. It’s supposed to have an S on the twist handle

The flag upside down represents a "distress" signal generally speaking. There's more to it actually but, that's mostly it where I'm concerned. I'm in distress because I watch the news. But I don't want to say anything more political :censored: lest I get kicked out of the forum for 30 days. :anonymous:

BTW: thanks for the "great build" comment!

Even if you leave only a sedan's length, some a-hole will try and squeeze in there.

Actually...no. My wife likes Punk, I don't care for it :frusty: The "US" and "flaming bomb" sticker is for the U.S. Army Ordnance insignia. I used to have a collection of M1903 Springfield rifles (military issue) and as an Ordnance issued weapon, they had the insignia along with month/year of manufacture stamped on the barrel, on the top, just rear of the front sight. Often, "U.S" was replaced with the initials of another barrel manufacture, usually indicates an armory rebuild. The "SA" in this one represents Springfield Armory.

    Enough for now
@FreshMexicanTaco pro grille today. I fumbled with the raptor lights for a couple hours and opted not to. I gotta unfuck my wiring situation under the hood before I add more.

superior quality grille that came preassembled with the garnish and letters already on. Super stoked and glad the last bit of chrome is gone
