Anyone have any experience with sound deadening/heat block in the cab? I bought some 160 mil/4mm material and it seems waaaaaaay too thin!

I lived up there briefly. My grandpa built his cabin up there after the war when he was working in NYC. Are there places to offroad up there? I wouldn't be surprised.

Changed my JCW order to the 6 speed instead of the 8 auto. Whenever I've driven manual its been for fun, never daily/commuter/traffic. Man I can realllly overthink a decision though in a short period of time lol.

I only go to a specific part but there is a lot of open land up there in general. Its def not ifs country. Places you would go up there would be local spots that are rough and you need a good setup that won't break.

I can only picture tight trails that aren't friendly. Most all of my time going since I was a kid was around Mt Pocono area.

So you are getting the manual trans? I think a manual in a little car like that will be a piece of cake in traffic. My truck is another story

I did a search and found some clubs in that area. I've spent some time in a training camp in Stroudsburg

    Thank you!

And my apologies on not getting back to you. If it's any consolation, you having made that decision before I got back to you saved you the headache of reading what would've been a 3-4 paragraph response

Just can't wait to see your new whip!

    Sugar daddy?

He won't even bring me his Miller that I want :pout:

Short of stop-and-go traffic, you won't even think about the clutch during your commute.

Source: A decade of manual car ownership.

Caveat, though... I've owned Japanese econoboxes (the Tacoma included). If the JCW has a heavy or aggressive clutch that might be a different story.

Yeah. I was just overthinking it since I haven't owned one to use as a daily, so the whole traffic 'con' was in my head. Hell it even has auto rev matching (unless you're in sport) so should be good to go, and very much worth it for the times when I want o have more fun.

What are you getting? I do like rev-matching on the Nissans.
