I had been chasing a vibration in my 2014 Tacoma trd sport for a year and a half and I finally thought I narrowed it down to my pro comp 7005 wheels. So I called Dustin at FN Wheels and he spent at least an hour going through the process of elimination with me of what it could be and we both agreed it is most likely my pro comp wheels.

Then I started asking about the fx pro wheels and he probably spent another 20-30 minutes explaining the specs and ratings of the wheels compared to the TRD SEMA wheels and the phony copies.

I called back the next day and Dustin had them shipped out that day. When I received the wheels they were double boxed and showed up EXACTLY like Dustin said they would. He also suggested I go with toyo open country at3 tires and I just took his word for it and went with them.

Once I had them all mounted and balanced and mounted on the truck it looked incredible. After the test drive the vibration was gone FINALLY!

Dustin and FN Wheels customer service is second to none. The wheels are top quality, the shipping was prompt, and the wheels are even nicer than I expected.

    Thank you again Dustin.

So I drove up to the Corona, CA. warehouse to meet Dustin at FN Wheels and picked up a set of four Fx Pro’s 16x8 in matte black, plus a spare from a pallet of spare rims with VERY minor issues that he just sold to me at cost (it’s nice to see a guy who appreciates detail the way Dustin does). I went up there two weeks ago Saturday and am just now getting around to installing them. I’ll post the installed pics when it’s finally done. Dustin is a really good dude and it was super cool to hang with him for a bit.

Just installed FN Wheels Fx Pros 16x8 on my 285/75R16 TOYO Open Country A/T III’s with the Gorilla black spline extended lugs. They turned out great. I would’ve went with the TRD Pros but I wanted the pattern that was only offered on the 17” so Dustin came through with these and for less $. I definitely recommend FN Wheels. Dustin is a stand up guy and he will take care of you.

Pulling my hair out trying to decide between matte bronze and matte gunmetal on an MGM 3rd gen. So many great shots of both and they both look awesome which doesn't help :(

I personally went with bronze on my barcy red because I knew I was going to run into blacks and gunmetals on the road. I think bronze is always the best option for differentiation. Really gotta go with your gut though

You got your work cut out for you my friend. Only you can make that decision but it can be a tough one. I like both but personally prefer the bronze on red, white and blue but that's just me. I know there are lots of guys that like them on all colors. Have you spoken to Dustin yet? He is a great guy. I went back and forth on a couple of colors and finishes. I ended up going with the high gloss dark gunmetal. I was seriously planning on matte gunmetal but kept going back and forth between the two. Conversation with Dustin helped me decide. The main reason I went that route was according to Dustin the gloss holds up better over time and they are easier to keep clean because they are not as porous. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they look in person and they actually have a little sparkle to them. I'm sure you will be very satisfied with any choice you make. They are great wheels. Keep us posted on your choice and as always post pics when you get them. Good luck

That blue is sharp, but can't see that on a mag gray truck.

I think my wife made the final call. I snagged a few from this thread and a few scattered around various other wheel threads that were remotely close to the same lighting and angle and she picked bronze. I think I'm okay with that and it removes one of the hardest decisions I've had to make on this thing yet LOL.

I had no clue they made them in blue. That would look good on the right color truck.

I've seen both and also struggled with it. I ended up going with the Bronze because I felt the wheels were too close to the MGM color and it didn't really jive with my vision. Plus I've read sooooo many threads about how the matte gunmetal is more difficult to clean.

I was sceptical when they first came in and so was the tire shop. By the time they were on there though, everyone at the shop was complimenting it and the bronze doesn't "pop" as much as I was scared it would. Pretty happy and think you will be too!

Congrats on the decision and hope you're excited for the new shoes!

I haven't reached out to him yet, no. I only just settled on these today as I was torn between them and the RR5-V. In the end I don't like the faux bead lock look and I may as well stick with the TRD theme overall.

I think the Bronze has a little more of that feel of not following the trend, at least around here. You California crews seem to have a lot more bronze going on but here in Florida everyone is still rocking black like it's the new black :)

I love mine and have been very happy with them. I'm sure you'll be happy with these as well if you decide to bite the bullet. Dustin is a super nice guy and will spend as much time talking to you as you need. He spent about 40 minutes with me answering any question I threw at him. He can be a little hard to get ahold of because he is kind of a one man show but worth it for sure.

On another subject, I have some trivia for you. Any idea where these 3 pictures are from?
