Is it that time already. Morning y'all...

 

Morning SA. Despite the cold and wind, Rockport was awesome. It was a really relaxing time camping with no kids, and no schedule. We ate like royalty every meal. Saturday turned into a pretty nice day to wander around downtown, doing happy wife things lol.

Managed to have some tailwinds for both sides of the trip. Averaged 12.3 mpg for the whole trip, I’ll take it considering I was running 75-80 the whole way down there.

Good Morning SA! Finished a fine birthday celebration with a nice Mexican dinner at a just good food place here. So, no one cooked all day. Drag it out the rest of the week, we will! Have Spectrum coming to move the outside box this am. The folks I have managed to come look for a quote on back up all have coveted the space, so I will get it moved. Inch by inch, I will get to having wired back-ups available. Oh, the fireplace insert folks finally called (should be ready mid-February), and all the parts have made it. Now, the independent installer will call at some point....

First Friday of the week off to a start of some kind!

Good Morning SA! Beautiful day yesterday. Screen project for the greenhouse vents didn't work out - to many obstructions - so, I will put on the new solar screen today, to try to convince the new batch of ladybugs to stay and eat things. Last batch seemed to have sex, and disappeared. Got some more mulch thrown down, and more today.

I didn't do the labor, but cable came and took care of my box and outlet check. Around the corner now, it is!

Also took 1/2 hour for a little RAV4 mod ("please don't modify the car!") that she'll probably not even notice for a while.




All 4 doors got illuminated window switches. It really bugged me you could not see them at all in the dark, or when you opened the door. It's ridiculously easy plug and play.

 

Nice little upgrade

 

Really kind of cheap for Toyota not to have them on that level of car.
