Not that I can recall, but the calibrations are identical in structure to the Tundra. It can be done. We’ve just not actively pushed into that market.

Would love to get them on board.

Working on it. Despite one in my garage, I have been working very hard at refining our 4Runner and Tundra HPT calibrations. We’ve made some good headway with the Tundra as mentioned. We’re potentially in the market to procure a 5th Gen 4Runner for development purposes. Would love to have access to the TCU to get a full tune done, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to be a reality in the near future unfortunately.

    Jeep Calibrations are coming.

I’ve never been a jeep guy but my friend just got one and I have to say it’s very nice. I hope Toyota’s next Tacoma they step up their game. Granted my truck is like 9 years old now, some of the newer vehicle amenities are nice, and atleast the back seats are usable for an adult in the jeep..
Good stuff man, keep it up. One of these days I really need to get an updated tune for the trans on my truck. Still rocking the version that likes to hold 3rd and 4th gear unless I drive it like I stole it :D

I have been lagging on letting you know. I let my buddy borrow my tuner and I forgot about it, finally got it back a few weeks ago. That plus only recently I have been driving my truck a lot since my work truck is on its last leg. When ever you get around to it, no biggie!

While we're bugging @JustDSM lol, how about tuning a Jeep XJ? I may be in the near future slapping an Eaton m90 kit on one, or just doing an ls swap.

I’m personally not, but I work more on the calibration development end of things. I believe my partner is a little more involved there. Our 3rd party tuners are quite active on social media platforms, which has been more productive than forums from my experience.

I’m familiar with their file structure, and I have to say those ECU’s make our 2md Gen look advanced.

Not much there, but they can be tuned. I obviously don’t have anything pre-made for that platform. You may look at a ECU upgrade for your project with FI in mind.

Not much demand at all for the old 4.0L I6.

Damn that would be a shit storm to find. I was debating if I should pull the S/C or not. Rambo is like @12TRDTacoma or pull it. Pulling seems easy enough but more work. Haven't pulled it since installation butt hen again I could install those damn HPS heater hoses that have been sitting around forever.

The truck gone for a couple of weeks for some welding install stuff I couldn't do or get to anytime soon, my RIPP coils will be here from friend delivery out of state, and hoping to tackle some of the random things I never got around to. Do not like seeing these issues the past couple of weeks with @12TRDTacoma and now you @White lightning boosted

Do you still have your shroud that came with the efan? Cheapest option would be making some adapters that will allow mounting of that shroud, but still haven’t gotten all the details worked out. This route may require a custom coolant expansion tank as the fj and tacoma’s tanks sit inside of the shroud a bit. My friend works at RB offroad and he said I should have one of the guys there work it all out, I just haven’t had time yet to take the truck in so they can work it out. A full custom shroud will obviously be a bit costly but it’s possible to make the fj coolant tank work in that case, but it may be a bitch because thats more work. I would like to get the fan as close to the rad as possible since this will give a lot of clearance in the engine bay to service the idlers/belts.

Edit: another thing I have not considered is if I use my csf fj radiator, it may not work perfectly with the tacoma radiators. I do have a junk stock radiator they could possibly use to mock up. If I go this route I do want to use something that will work for most people since they will likely make a jig so they can produce them at will for people.

By chance, did you see what @Roostfactor had done for mounting?

I didn’t take any when I had it off. When the fan is starting and stopping it rubs and it has made good progress on destroying those 3d printed arms. I am going to be flashing the truck with an updated tune so I’ll see if I can snake my phone in there for some pictures.

I don’t think I have. I saw what @loginfailed did for his shroud but the way this fan mounts it would be a tiny bit more complicated since his fan has a round shroud with holes to mount.

Edit: I just went back and found John’s post. I do like what he did but at this point I really want to go to a slimmer shroud to make servicing the idlers and supercharger belt a bit easier. Pulling out the shroud is annoying and I feel like once the plastic gets brittle if I keep doing that it’s going to break.

On my M3, I used the stock fan shroud and modified it to fit the efan.

So what did you do to fix this Jesse? Some JB Weld on that sucker and good to go?

That really makes me wonder what's been going on with mine.

There are a lot of things that they totally overlooked when designing these and you can tell they are an add on afterthought to the OE setup.

havent done anything besides moving the clamps and putting a rubber pad over it. thought about having it welded. but that honestly scares me. could blow a big messy hole in it. thought about jb weld this morning actually. thats likely the route ill go.
