So I recently hit a deer with my 2014 Tacoma doing minor damage. Enough however to merit upgrading and replacing my front bumper with a C4 Hybrid bumper, weighing in at 137lb and intend to add a winch as well which will add another 60lb to 90lb.
With that being said I've been doing some research and I'm finding that I'll definitely want to upgrade front end suspension and adding a block to the rear to match the height. I haul a camper during summer time so I don't want a leveling kit.
I'm also on a budget and I'm not looking for anything too fancy just something to keep the ride smooth and the front end from sagging.
I'm currently looking at OME 2.5" 886 coilovers and a 2.5" lift block for the rear.

At that lift height should I worry about camber offset or stressing of stock parts? If so what are my options?
    Thanks!Screenshot_20220310-223929_Chrome.jpg 20220313_114646.jpg

Keep in mind the bumper you're taking off also has some weight so you're really adding like 150lbs, maybe a bit less. Great choice on the bumper I really like mine

    Looks pretty slick!
I'm still looking to have a lift on the truck so regardless I want the extra strength.

Are you planning to do upper control arms (UCAs)? If not, might want to factor that in. SPC adjustable and JBA non-adjustable are popular options.

Treasure trove of answers in the Suspension subforum if you're willing to dig. Good luck and welcome to TacomaWorld!

Up to 2" in front stock UCA still work but after that no.
New OME coils will require new 5100 or newer so more cost.
Rear blocks will mess with your driveshaft vibes paired with the weak rear springs.
To do a lift correctly it will cost you or you will open a can of worms/other issues.
Read the suspension link above as many many opinions.

Rear blocks will accelerate wear on the factory leafs as well as possibly introducing axle wrap, especially with a constant load.On a budget, go with wheelers progressive 3 leaf aal.
Avoid any type of blocks for front(spacers) or rear lifts.

So I had the same issue, hit a deer decided on the bigger bumper put a lift on right after already in the plans. 3 inch Ome had to go with the heavier springs for a 4runner it's been a while but 669 i think 668 can't remember because the bumper weighted so much. Dakars in the back. Have run this setup for almost 7 years. No issues. Spc UCA. Stock lower.

None. 220k miles, just did a major brake/ suspension overhaul to keep him on the road.
Hi, not typically my style but wow that is a high end build. Everything looks so damn good I want to back it into My garage just so I can see it when I open the door in the morning.

So it's been a couple years but I think it went like I put the lift it under the truck hit the deer got the bumper had to change out the 885 coils to 886s which still weren't enough so then I went to the 887s can't remember I know that I had to go to a heavier spring because that bumper I got weight too much.
