I never hand washed my truck myself except for this first time. Just years and years of taking it to a car wash.

It wasn't cheap. I bought it from OK4WD in Sept or Oct and had it shipped to my house. It would have cost more to go to the nearest dealer (still had to pay shipping to their location) and pick it up or have it installed. It looks like they have gone up in price by at least $400. It was worth it to me for a brand that has the reputation of Alu-Cab. It is more expensive than a fiberglass cap with similar features but is significantly lighter. I'm trying to keep my truck as light as is reasonable. The very basic fiberglass cap that I had on my 1st gen made a noticable impact on the performance of the 3.4 motor and my mileage in that truck. The top is not see through, that is actually the rear door. Just a funky perspective with the wide lens. The top is solid with a diamond plate like texture and built in rails for attaching load bars, etc.

Did some small stuff. Truck barely gets driven at the moment so there was some condensation built up in the oil cap.

Cleaned up and replaced cracking gasket.

Tie down was rotting away a bit so I swapped it. Has to reuse the nut as the new hook doesn't include one. Ground the rust off and painted it black to reuse.

Did the "Pay it off" mod on the Taco and the travel trailer this morning. This is the first time I'll be without a vehicle payment since I bought my first new car.

Replaced my 2nd Gen TRD skid for the 3rd Gen TRD skid. Twice as thick and covers more area.
No extreme trails here, so I know it'll be fine.
Only issue was I needed to fab new license plate brackets (originally from ACEkraut) since they were attached to my 2nd Gen skid.

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
You have any more info or pictures on that? I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing but as an “on the bumper” addition. Looks great!

Making small adds here and there over the last two years - just did a full clean today as I get ready to sell it since I bought a Land Rover Defender that I am turning into an overlanding camper. . .

Nice, thanks for sharing. Built in rails is definitely a nice feature, I’ll have to look into this.
