Usually by the time the labor and parts to do that it’s cheaper to just buy complete spindles.

Just catching up on post and first one I have to comment. That's great news. Hope this trip went well. Reminds me of a friend who won the battle more than ten years ago and still going. He was telling me after a treatment and walking behind his mower, mowing grass, in the agonizing heat and pain, in tears, he said he just felt like he had to keep fighting.

 

Now I would have given that back to him with axle part straight / not angled , figuring it bent before breaking

 

That looks expensive...

 

Don't they make a pill for that nowadays? Jus sayin'...

My regular favorites are Reeses and M&M's peanut.
But sometimes a Milkyway Dark is a good change-up for me. One that still good for me is a Three Musketeers , following a few of the bites with a swill of cold diet coke for the gut blast effect

Today was a rough one for me, looking at more work packages for this Falls outage. What made it a challenge more than anything was the fact I got maybe 3 hours of sleep. My own fault because I nap late in the day. Got a bunch of details sorted on a couple different work orders, so good enough.

 

I spent part of the day at my desk working on taxes -- looks like someone dumped a recycle paper dumpster in my office...

Every year I vow to keep things more organized, usually for a month or two I actually do.

 

I think a reason I was so determined to get this old Corvette I've been working on is not ever owning a old 4 speed muscle car or driving one (besides a friend's '67 Camaro) and a friend in HS who had a 1970 TA. That TA ran strong, 4 speed car, and the steering was very fast or quick ratio. He bought the car for $800.00 from a guy in trouble with the law and needed cash quick to exit town.
I like the turn aluminum dash and on that shaker hood vents would open with the 4bbl secondaries

 

Six does amazing work and will help anyone with anything but I think you found his line!

 

I can't stand dark chocolate, I just don't like bitter things. Tis why I don't care for Old Fashioned's.
