Soo.. I recently went through the process of changing out the ect (coolant temperature sensor) on my 2006 2.7l 2tr-fe tacoma.. I also ended up changing out the coolant by-pass pipe.. ive gotten everything back together.. two things though...
    1. The hose leading to the backside of the manifold was pretty rotten... there are long splits on the end of the hosing. I'm planning to replace the hosing asap, but I tried starting anyways...
    2. When I got it started it was idling hard.. not wanting to start at first and eventually stalling out..
What id like to know is if the hose is broken that comes off the backside of the manifold (by the firewall) if this could cause this issue or if anyone knows if i should look somewhere else for a missed connection.. im doing all this work outside in Chicago so I've kind of been at the whim of the weather.. but tomorrow is supposed to be 64F! Hope to get my truck back to road worthy by sundown.
Also wondering what the item number of this vacuum hose im talking about is or if it's a generic hose I can pick up anywhere.
    Any help is very appreciated!

I don’t have a 2TRFE but all I can think is that it doesn’t seem to be running on all cylinders. Did you unplug or dislodge any coil packs, sensors, or other electrical connectors when you replaced the ECT? Might double-check those of you haven’t already. Good luck.

Exactly what my buddy suggested before I posted this. First thing I'm checking tomorrow. Thanks.

Make sure the vacuum hose that runs from a metal tube (from the pcv I believe) to the back side of the intake manifold is plugged in. That’s an easy one to miss, and it’s hard to see.

Just read your post further down, Yes, that can absolutely cause this issue if this is not connected

Thanks for this! Is this something I could improvise or should I absolutely go oem...I can't seem to find one in the Chicago area and would likely have to wait for shipping.

Absolutely go OEM imo. The ends are two different sizes.

You may try checking with a local dealer. Often times they can order and get it next day if you can pick up locally

I replaced that tube and am still having the same issues... I just pulled codes and it came back with these codes.. previously when I pulled codes it just came back with coolant sensor.. is this cause for concern?

I'm betting the key got turned on with a bunch of stuff unplugged.

Reset, swap the #3 coil and plug to different cylinders and see if the miss follows either.
