No problem. I had a dumb blonde moment installing mine. It wasnt working. Was talking to someone on here trying to trouble shoot it and he told me to try turning the sensitivity all the way up. I did that and what do you know it worked. Lol. I didnt realize the knob could do 3 full turns before it was all the way up. I did have to keep turning it down for a week cause a bird chirping would set it off.

Did you get a chance to install you kit? I'm following your thread because I need to install my kit in the center under the climate control but need to extend the wires.
I will let you be the pioneer for this. Wiring not my strong suite.

Is plug and play on a manual, except for, the microphone. The kit comes with a “tall” button style mic, which doesn’t work on the manual since the space is occupied but the clutch start cancel switch. I bought a short style mic and used it instead.

Hey does anyone know if you can add an additional contact to the pin 8 wire, was hoping to add a shock sensor by the cat that would parallel the hood contact to try a deter someone cutting out the catalytic converters....

I have been looking for the "short style mic". Can you provide details on where you were able to source it?

No I haven’t. I have to redo a harness run for my seat heaters, I mistakenly took 2 wires out but 1 was still needed, and when I finally get to that I can include the wires for this (all going to the same place)

All hooked up. Not working. I don't have a cable lead under the hood so that's the only thing I didn't do. I have an aftermarket remote start . Could that be a problem. Online instructions say to use Tech stream. Any ideas

Just added one to my 22, no tech stream needed, but have the factory alarm so I didnt do anything with the hood pin...double check your sensitivity setting, ...believe that your problem might be the hood latch

I don't have a hood latch. Took it out. Complete reinstall. Turned the sensitivity all the way up. Panic button works. Security light un dash blinks. I have ton loads of Stereo installs. I have a warm car now remote start. Don't think that's a problem. I'm stymied

I thought maybe I plugged something in wrong. But I don't see any other plugs you could screw up with

Do you have the keyless factory alarm?....I thought that you required that and the break glass was just an add on to that
