“How to pay for your expensive ass truck” seems like an entirely relevant thread

    It's a Camry... dick...

I would love to stay and continue this very cool and balanced intellectual conversation, but I am needed over in another thread to discuss how big of a tire can you install on a stock Gen3 without it rubbing. Wish me luck!

oh calm down. Don't get so offended. Geez...

Amazing how triggered some individuals get so easily. If my opinion on the topic doesn't sit well with you, don't take it personal.
    Enjoy your thread

I guess the idea of having your money make money isn't for everyone lol.

40k invested at 5% for 5 years is over 51k. After paying the roughly 2K in interest on the loan @2%, it's still made 9k dollhairs.

That’s it, Montana. Going to my safe space now.

    P.S.
Anyone know what’s the biggest tire I can run without rubbing on a cheap ass 4 cylinder SR if I run in 5th gear and mostly driving around evenings when it’s not raining? Taking into account I get over 22 mpg highway and my payments are about half yours?

Probably not a bad idea if you make half as much as me? I dunno how much you make or care? That's why this topic is dumb. What works for another person won't for for someone else. A 4 year loan w/ 10k down being paid off in 3 is not for everyone...

Are we talking about investing and generating passive income? Or spending money on a vehicle?

I guess with the market it could be considered as such? I mean, I did make more on a trade in for the taco... But not something I would count in my portfolio as an investment. Because all that extra just went into a down payment. Even if I could pay cash, I'd still finance. It's not rocket science. Social scores... I mean, credit scores need help...

There is your "contribution" Goram... most of us agree. Still think it's more off topic stuff than 3rd gen related.

The topic is cash or finance. Off topic back and forth have created more discussions about it. Now it's rocket science. Get the crayons out fella's... we are having a power point about personal finances over here...

You guys also into Tony Robbins?
