Rear Seat Delete Decks

Anybody has those jump seats for sale for a 2019. Just learning about the Tacos got it 2 weeks ago.

Been designing & working on a rear seat delete platform storage deck 2021 TRD OR DC. Super thankful for this thread & inspiration. Will update with tips & pointers discovered beginning this project that hasn't been mentioned on the thread, especially fastener/bolt solutions/sizes from big box hardware stores once completed since I'm still experimenting. Ultimately, the goal is to maximize storage space and have a leveled space for my senior pup to hangout on during road trips within the cab. Can also be used as a sleeping platform if needed. With this frame configuration I can extend sleeping space by pushing the front seats all the way forward and having a module to expand the platform, still retaining seat adjustment for the front seats. Trying to keep it somewhat lightweight as possible.

Need to bring in the truck for 15K miles scheduled maintenance. Does this void warranty? Contemplating on installing the seats again before heading to the dealer...

 

Here is the GooseGear in my 2021 SR5. I had it carpeted. I am very pleased.

 

Looking very good so far, keep us updated as you continue the build out. And no a manufacturer can not void a warranty, that is against the law. The only way they can deny a warranty claim based on modifications done to your vehicle is. They would have to be able to prove that the modification in some way caused or was attributed to the failure/repairs being claimed.

 

Looks great. Wish I had the cash to do that in my truck.

 

I have about $1300 in the setup. I sold my seats, headrests,etc for $500. So $800 net. I am very happy with that.

 

I'm a DAV so I would be ecstatic with $800 net cash myself.

 

Curious to know if this would clear the door on a slide if it were mounted sideways on a goosegear base plate?

1500 seems like a lot of money. You would think for the 800 it would come perfect! I spent less than 250 on everything and got this..... did take me a few days to mock up and complete. Still have to make the drawers for the side. Got my inspiration from @RickG.

 

Added a $3 Walmart organizer I found to the backside and mounted my fire extinguisher.

 

I feel the need to say something about the skeleton buckled in the back seat..

 

ikr!?! why not the front passenger for that sweet free HOV lane access

Everybody seems taking seats out and I picked up seats from here put them now I have the seat delete maybe someone could use. Grand daughter loved the seat.
