What's the general consensus? I'm upgrading the OEM fogs and want to go with a quality product. Both are plug and play and are comparable cost. I'll be going with white light if that makes a difference. Just looking for recommendations since I can't make up my mind.

I have no experience with the KC lights, but my SS3's have been great.

I purchased the SS3 Pro Yellow fogs during a Black Friday sale. Super bright (brighter than my h9 low beams), but also road legal. Easy install and aiming. If you go that route, let @memario1214 help you out

Thanks for the suggestions, you've convinced me to go with the SS3s. I'm curious how the white ones look with the amber backlight hooked into the DRL.

I had amber G4's before switching to white SS3 sports, no regrets. I also have yellow SS3 pro's and they are so much better than the amber G4's.

That's what I needed to hear. Thanks

I'll be going with the Pros in white. Just haven't decided on the amber backlight yet.

I would highly consider at least getting a set of Selective Yellow lenses as well. I've been to MD a bunch to visit family, with the fog and rain you deal with often you'd really appreciate the yellow lenses. Not to mention when it's snowing, the yellow helps a ton!! The yellow cuts through any type of moisture like you wouldn't believe. Where as the white tends to reflect off the moisture back at you. If you have ever driven a car with OEM LED headlights in any of those conditions, you know exactly what I am talking about.

I think the answer to your question has been answered pretty completely here, but to answer your backlight question it all comes down to aesthetics and what you're after. Here's a few photos - One with the main beam on, and the other with the backlight on the exact same light. Then a couple of shared backlight photos. Hope they help! As linked above - you're in luck too as we do have a sale going on

I mean... We don't have an exchange program, but we certainly can make it happen :anonymous: :D

If you’re looking to offload those I’ll settle for no backlight for the right price

I don't have any experience with the KDs, but can vouch for the DDs - currently have them on a 5G 4R and got a set of backlit SS3 (from @memario1214 - thanks Colton!) on the 3G TOR and they have exceeded my expectations.
