Yep - never know until you try. Have the battle is growing the balls and diving in, already 95% bolder than everyone else.

But seriously if need SEO help let me know. This year I've been using a two-person firm that has knocked it out of the park. They just started their firm so early adopter pricing with excellent customer service. I've tried multiple different SEO firms but this group has blown my socks off so far; technically sound with Wordpress, quick changes, and super cheap (right now). Let me know if you their information.

Thanks man! I would take you up on that but my brother actually also started a digital marketing company last year too haha. I get the family discount so I think that would be hard to beat haha.

I'm trying to get him to learn shopify so he can build me a custom website but it uses its own language so we will see. He actually built me a personal resume website last year that I've been digging too.

thank you! I'll definitely keep you all in the loop when I release more bike specific stuff. The socks will obviously work with bike shoes, I just personally prefer thinner socks on the bike. I should have those in stock in the next couple of weeks and depending on how I decide to launch them, not much longer after that.

I've been having fun with the marketing so I'll probably do a short video for each product I launch, which adds a little time between delivery to my door and launch on the website.

I went with those Kestrel shoes and am not liking them at all. I had another pair of five ten flats but these are much more narrow and not wearing in. I’m also new to clip ins so I wasn’t prepared for how stiff the soles are. No way I could hike a bike in the Kestrels. I need to get to a bike shop and try out some other options. Are all clip in shoes overly stiff soled?

Kestrels can def be hike a biked in, but I know where youre coming from.

In all honesty, my kestrels are one of the less stiff options Ive come across. They have to be quite stiff to have the support for your body weight on the clip surface, and be stiff enough that the sole doesnt just fold over when you try to twist out of your clips

I have the shimano clips and I really like them. I've hiked up some crazy descents without too much issue. I don't see the exact shoe on their website but its most similar to the SH-AM5 https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/product/apparel-accessories/shimano-series-lsg-2021/SH-AM503.html
Look for the chart that shows the outsole stiffness.

Here in Brazil there are wet and slippery trails with stream crossings. I found that my shoes were slippery in spots. I probably would choose the SH-ME702 if you were hiking areas like that. The page says that the sole has more traction. That neoprene around the ankle works well to keep out little rocks/sand in the streams. https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/product/apparel-accessories/shimano-series-lsg-2021/SH-ME702.html

edit: this is the shoe that I have https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/product/apparel-accessories/shimano-series-lsg-2020/SH-AM702.html

Good info, thanks! I have the Five Ten Freeride for flats and I really like them. They aren't overly aggressive and I do find that some 'hike a bike' areas get sketchy when the bike loses traction, I put my foot down and that has even less traction. But, all told, I don't do a lot of mud riding but there are a lot of rocks.

Thanks for the info on the sole stiffness, I'll pay more attention to that for my next set.

I have the same experience with 5ten freerides too. Good on the bike but a horrible hiking shoe.

swapped to some MTE vans that work great hiking (because they are hiking shoes) and do good on the bike. But because the sole isn’t super stiff like a mtb shoe i find on long rides my feet start to hurt in them.

I've got so many CC in my safe I'm unsure. Sams Club has 5% CB year round and Costco 4% year round, but I think it's limited to $7,500 a year in fuel purchases.
Is the Discover card limited on amount of CB you can earn at 5%?

No. But the cash back match is only available during the first year.

Truth be told I just don't spend a lot of money to maximize these benefits but anything helps with the current environment. Corporate America hit me with the 3.5% cost of living adjustment BS after historically high cost of living increases

All the planets aligned with weather and daylight saving time. Yesterday the first day of longer daylight hours I hurried out after work. A late start at 3:30 but it was the warmest part of the day at close to 70° my whole ride. Hard to believe rain is coming in today and snow on Thursday.. dirt was like Velcro at one of my local go to trails. Super fast perfect tacky grip.

I couldn't decide if the dog thread or this one are the best on TW so here's both! We mostly ride on the northern Oregon Coast. Some great trails up here and lots of potential. Any other Oregon riders on here?PXL_20220128_225228254.PORTRAIT.jpg PXL_20211126_174324751.jpg
