TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I’m not exactly sure how long the pending stays. I think it depends on how far you drive because sometimes mine would be gone by the time I reached my destination, sometimes it was still there.

 

i dont have an ultra gauge. did you replace all o2s at once or just front or rear?

 

all 4 is like 500$ right?

 

I just did the fronts, no reason to do the rears really unless it’s throwing a code for them. But the fronts are more important in my opinion since that’s what your ecu uses to adjust fueling etc.

 

I couldn't even get the rear o2s out. Seized in.

 

Penetrating lube (including melting candle wax), in-between torch heating cycles. Usually works very well.

I need to install a new starter, while investigating I noticed this...

While I'm in there, any recommendations on other things to look at or upgrade, also, any gasket's recommended?

Solid mounts shouldn’t be too hard. Headers no idea.

 

Yes sir calculated $16.12 discount in that price. I just assumed everyone always used it at RA

 

Also, south Florida Toyota dealers are doing some crazy promotions on parts. 40% or something, free shipping and i think no tax. I just ordered to rear wheel bearing for $5-600 bucks instead of $450 each from the dealer. wouldn't be surprised if you can get them there as well.

 

I had some SKF made in Japan ones I could have hooked you up with for less than Rock Auto. Rear wheel bearings with gaskets.

 

hmmm how much? Do you have the retainer ring too?

WTF! our o2 sensors are 200$ each!

 

guy at the auto store couldnt cross ref these #s but denso fronts were 187$ ea. before tax.

 

I paid around like $130 each at the dealer..

 

They are closer to $80- $100 for Denso OE equivalents.
