Im getting 13-15 with a DC, auto, 3.4, no armor, 4.56s, and 285s lol. Running 2500-3000 on the interstate

‘02 DC Auto, 3.4 S/C, 4.88’s, full armor minus rear bumper, 285 Wildpeak M/Ts. Odometer is corrected by a Dakota Digital. Basically… she’s fat and thirsty. Get about 200 to the tank.

I get that with my DC on 33x10.5s. The auto sucks a lot of power away.

I used to get 15-18 with 255/80r17s. And got over 20mpg regularly too even fully loaded at times some how. Was a good tire size just not enough options to make me stay there.

 

TBH it might be lower due to error on reading proper mileage due to the 35's even with the speedo gear fix.

I used to get 230 ish a tank but the soft topper got me closer to 250ish on winter gas. I think this last trip I didn't do as well coming home due to a nasty head wind though.

 

These trucks have the aerodynamics of a brick, even without big tires and armor. Anything over 65-70 and the MPG will start to drop, anything over 75 and forget it. That's why @turbodb drives 62.5 everywhere he goes (not joking).

Try driving slower if you want better gas mileage?

 

I don't really care about mileage so I am happy with 14 when I am hammering down at 80 with a screaming motor.

 

You wanna know true fear... ride with him in AZ. I was sure we were going to be pit maneuvered and shot.

 

Morning door handle replacement. Kid said he didn't want to have to open the driver's door by going through the rear door anymore. Sheesh, the convenience he's come to expect...

 

Finally had found a gasket a few months ago that would fit where the header bolts to the collector..

Now the rear exhaust hanger broke...and after re hanging the rear exhaust the header collector is leaking...again....got dang
