    Stock for now
    I've got two dealers with allocations on the spec I want. One says they're are trying to do a 'trade on allocation' (my words) and we've agreed to a price that I'm ok with. The other dealer emailed a spec sheet today with the exact build but wants me to reserve it, no deposit, and isn't as firm on an OTD price. Who should I prioritize?

    personally, I would go with option 1. The first question when talking to dealerships was would they sell to me (if out of state) and then would they honor MSRP when it came time to finance.

    sounds like we’re on a similar schedule. Mine was supposed to be built 3/3. Temp vin stopped working 3/5, and showed up on dealer site on 3/5 with permanent vin. Dealer just says it’s on the way with no ETA. Website still not showing an ETA, and no miles, tire pressure, gas, etc showing up on the app yet.

    One of the dealers I’m talking to gave me a MSRP/price/spec sheet with trim, what packages are included and a price we both agreed in. There was a VIN but my guess is that it’s temporary.

    They are few and far between. They're slowly showing up. Mine is scheduled to be in next week.

    this is what I’m scared of. I have a reservation at two dealers dating back to end of November and beginning of jan. Nothing so far. Florida isn’t getting a lot of 4x4 tacomas. Other dealers have put in my exact build for others in December and they’re taking delivery. Incredibly frustrating since my truck was totaled in november
