I’m a toolie so probably don’t get it - but aren’t there too many paths to really protect against EMP with anything less than surrounding the vehicle in a faraday cage?

I got this on Etsy. I messed up another vehicle trying to remove them so I didn’t risk it. It made the fabric stretched out.

Did you have your rack powder coated? I know they offer the armor side plates in colors but not the actual side rail

Not today but last week, Clazzio seat covers. Very satisfied and everything went just as described by most in here.

Are the inserts white or ivory? I have a white truck and I’m not sure how the ivory would look with the white.

I have no idea, I'm not an electrical engineer. I assume it's protecting the battery, so it would shunt any overvoltage present in the electrical system, as long as it's connected to the battery.

Just curious, are the bed and roof rack joined together?

UpTop on their Alpha racks offers the option to color match the outer armor or the inner "groovetek" plates. I decided that a hint of Inferno behind the outer black armor was the right look fro my rig. The match is pretty spot on (pretty sure it would be 100% if the truck was new and hadn't suffered 4 years of UV punishment) and quite durable. The rest of the rack parts have a durable matte black coating.

No, currently there is about a 1/4"+ spacing between the roof and eX racks to allow flexing of the bed and cab.

Oh okay. Flexing was my concern. I would just strap that lumber to the rear rack. That’s a beautiful setup you’ve got there!
