Just curious, are the bed and roof rack joined together?

UpTop on their Alpha racks offers the option to color match the outer armor or the inner "groovetek" plates. I decided that a hint of Inferno behind the outer black armor was the right look fro my rig. The match is pretty spot on (pretty sure it would be 100% if the truck was new and hadn't suffered 4 years of UV punishment) and quite durable. The rest of the rack parts have a durable matte black coating.

No, currently there is about a 1/4"+ spacing between the roof and eX racks to allow flexing of the bed and cab.

Oh okay. Flexing was my concern. I would just strap that lumber to the rear rack. That’s a beautiful setup you’ve got there!

So, a capacitor, a diode, and a resistor "in a box"?

Sorry I’m not trying to hate on it, nor your paranoia. I’ve got always on front and rear dash cams.

Hey, my red arc trailer brake controller does that with a light blue hue that you barely notice when the truck is off. :D

Thank you. I have a need for hauling longer boards than a typical SB or LB would allow. Even a full size pickup would require an attachment on the hitch for 16 foot boards, but with the 10 foot span the roof rack and eX rack affords I'm more comfortable hauling long lumber without having to use (and figure out how to store) a trailer. Plus, I figured this setup has more utility than the ugly ladder racks most guys use, especially when I take the family out for our summer trips to CO and WY.

Definitely a versatile setup! I agree 100% it looks better than a traditional lumber rack. It will definitely serve you well.
