I agree. Especially for the beach runner look. Its hard finding simple tube bumpers aftermarket.

 

I was surprised when I got my bumper that not many places did tubes like this. I added a cover over the winch opening to make it look cleaner.

 

I finally figured out how to upload a video to Youtube. My girlfriend and I take several trips each year and we decided to document them. Here is the first video I've ever made. Not much of the truck this time but we will be filming all our camping and overland trips. Here is Madeline Island in the winter. We are going back in the spring so it will be fun to see the changes.

Where did you get that switch plate?

 

Removed old door seals and installed the new anti-kazoo ones. My quick drive down the hwy at 80 with a good crosswind says it’s fixed! Hopefully it stays that way! Also, got the yearly inspection done. Yay.

 

These bad boys got delivered today, should make for a fun weekend!

Found some free time to install the Icon RTX's I recently picked up. Swapped out my front 1.25" spacers for .75" and noticed a tear in the driver side inner CV boot...grease on the lca and cab mount... Yay...

 

Got the Cooper A/T3 4S 265/70 17 installed today. Love the way it came out looking. Just barely stepped up how it looks. About to get some 885's and Drakars on it hopefully by end of spring. Got a couple more big projects to do on the homestead

A wash, oil change, and Fluid Film refresh before the next snow storm.

How are you applying the fluid film? Aerosol can or pump sprayer?

 

Appreciate it. Was always a black wheel fan, more blacked out the better. Enjoying this contrast.

 

Just the can. One gets me through the leafs, shock mounts, axles, side frame, and a few other areas in front. I use Salt Away before the wash in a garden sprayer though.

 

Today i pulled all four tires for a tire rotation and general inspection of the brakes and front end components. Taking a road trip saturday morning to grab some new rims!

 

And the new wheels just happen to be bronze going on a black gen 2. Stoked!

Keeping busy as more goodies roll in. Yakima Overhaul HD with 55” bars. Installing well designed stuff is such a pleasure. Only hiccup was needing to loosen the rails to slide in the Mount bars.

My new flares and wheels should be here in the next week. Still shopping for a front bumper, lift and lighting. Starting to look how I’ve pictured for the last several years.
