    If going to Tybee and want a relaxed no shits given bar hangout, check out Huc A Poos. Good bar type food, great atmosphere. Staff and regulars are on island time, so don't expect some white linen type service. That being said, it is one of my favorite places.

    It is family and dog friendly

    Bucking Horse Outpost I believe tends to have pretty good prices relative to most others. Everything I've bought the last 6ish months has been from NormaShooting or AmmoShopOnline, but even their prices have started to go up and last I checked they were OOS on a lot of stuff.

    Search.

    There are a lot of good places, but obviously stock will vary.

    And, if it looks like a really good deal, it's probably a scam... :(

    Amazon....So you can stream Back to the Future and learn how to build a time machine to go back to 2018 b/c buying ammo right now sucks and is expensive.

    If you're on reddit, they have a gun deals sections that people post deals they finds from online. That's my best source.

    I haven't been on reddit long and have done 75 transactions on GAFS already. That's where the real money hole is.

    I havent been too tons of places on Tybee, we always stayed on north end of the island on the river. Hucapoos and lighthouse for pizza. Been to Sting rays and Crab Shack though, and wasnt overly impressed.

    Tybee is pretty cool place. Watching the massive container ships come up the river never gets old. And there are dolphins everywhere.

    A fellow commercial diver, buddy, and coworker is a longtime-bartender there. Never thought I'd see someone on TW mention Poo's haha.

    I had a few dolphins pop up in the water I’m guessing probably 30 yards from me and my young daughter last year when we went. I don’t know who thought it was cooler, me or my little girl.

    We had a similar experience at Jekyll last year. My kids went wild, especially my youngest daughter. My wife was in silent awe while my daughter screamed and ran down the beach following the pod, narrating the entire experience.

    All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    @cubie
    Where so you buy your ammo from?

    I buy mine second-hand from another forum. What calibers you need? I can get pretty much anything. Prices vary though.
