haha, that would be pretty brutal if it was legit bad news.

I'm exaggerating really, I've just been using a certain agency to hire contract models for the past couple of years and I know we are one of if not their biggest client. Owner recently decided he wanted to start using different agencies so I had to let them know. Nothing like having to fire an actual individual though, doing that through an email would probably be considered an HR violation lol.

The amount of times a day I get calls about this now… with everyone plugging into 2-3 different docking stations daily now. It’s driving me insane.

Oh good, it’s not just me.

Win 7 was great. Win 10 keeps getting worse. Win 11 is looking like a tire fire.

I wonder if I can get a Mac at work next.

This was before I was old enough to remember it, but my parents told me that our old cat liked to chase the puck on the TV while my dad watched hockey.

That was in the glass-screen days, though, so not much risk of the cat damaging it.

I'm still waiting on my new Mac setup that IT promised me over a year ago. I keep getting the computer chip shortage excuse. Yet I see them available online so...

I'm on two 2012 iMacs that can't be updated to the latest OS. I think they're just waiting for them to become physically completely obsolete before being forced to buy something, of course when that happens I'll be up shits creek.

Wow that picture has really evolved!

This is what it looked like when I first downloaded it

Okay I can't find it my 1000s of saved photos lol. But the bottom portion was only a pencil drawing instead of a 3D render

Haha yeah I can see that. There was a short timeframe back in the late 90s or so when the networks broadcasting NHL games had a laser effect added to the puck on TV screens so you could see it more easily, I guess they though it would help gain new viewership. It was annoying AF though and didn't last long

Looked like this, @Tour991 probably remembers what I'm talking about

I wonder if they’re waiting for the M1 chips to mature more. That Mac Studio would be bad ass for you.

I'm just not sure how I'm supposed to sleep on an 18x36" platform...

Yeah I'm guessing so as well, I was reading up on it this morning actually and it looks pretty sweet. Probably overkill for photo to be honest but would be great for video editing
