    Hello TacomaWorld,

I am interested in suspension lift on my stock Tacoma. 4x4 V6 Double Cab 5” Bed. I was thinking of Bilstein 5100 for all four sides, OME 888’s for the front, and a 1.50” AAL in the rear. In order for all this to be compatible, what other components do I need to make this all work out? Am I missing something? Are there potential problems or concerns I need to be aware of? Please let me know. Thanks Tacoma World members!

Might consider doing the ECGS Bushing install to get ahead of that potential problem.

You shouldn't need new high caster UCA's, but your post lift alignment will ultimately tell you. Enjoy the new lift!

That's where I'm at. I think you'll be fine. I did have to add a 1 inch block to get back just a tiny bit of rake even with the AAL.

Same setup with 5100s front, and rear 5100’s with a 1” block. Basically its an exact copy of Toyotas TRD 2+1 lift.

Got an alignment and after four thousand miles, zero issues so far. Skipped the ECGS bushing so far haven’t needed it.

Get SPC UCA's and ECGS bushing done! I have 5100/888 and I was told they would not have been able to get in within aligment spec without them. I also have the HS AAL in the rear.

Sounds great! How do you plan to use the truck?
I would recommend the Icon 3 leaf pack for the rear. Most of the AAL are short and will cause your rear springs to "W" in the long run.
If you decide to get SPC UCA's set them at setting "F" (+.25* Caster) Move you LCA cams so the LCA's are as far forward as possible, and have the alignment shop set the Camber with the sliding bolt of the SPC's.
You'll need to trim some plastic up front by the bottom of the bumper and move your inner fender liner forward.
That should get you to 2.5-3* of Caster. Then you can fit 285" tires without a CMC. Make sure you don't get rims with too high offset. 4.5"-4.75" BS is good!

    Good luck!

I’m thinking moderate off roading. Nothing too crazy. Pretty much anything higher than the TRD Off Road stock height.

I have basically the same truck as you. The Bilstein 5100's are great option. I have the 887 OME and they are way too soft for me. I'm thinking about going back to the Stock OffRoad coils. Stock coils are 700 lbs. OME are only about 600 lbs.

Exactly what i have. 888s with the 5100 Bilstein's and an icon AAL.
I added the sway bar relocation, just 20 bucks. its a small hunk of aluminum.

Did you have to get a diff drop kit to compensate the lift?
